The workshop in Bradford

The day in Bradford was very special and inspiring. What stayed with me is to work with stitches and materials like sketching down your ideas and feelings on a piece of paper. Let your rhythm and mood take control of the needle and your choice of stitches. Claire from (http://clarabellacraft.blogspot.co.uk/) had a table full with natural dyed material scraps, threads, books and samples. Most of the threads and cloths were dyed with natural colors done by her. I was drawn to the shades of yellow and gold given by onion skins. We decided that all color combinations worked together successfully because of there natural origins.

  1. Dieses Garn ist so wunderschön… Vielleicht sollten wir mal einen Experimentierworkshop machen und Seidengarne färben.
